The Fortress at Suwon was built in Joseon Dynasty. The place is very wide with special design. You will be looking around by the dragon trolley in distance for a good overlook. Suwon Hwaseong Fortress has been designated as the world cultural heritage in 1997. Few minutes away from the fortress lies Korean Folk Village; exactly like a village at Joseon Dynasty. Tourist can experience and understand how Korean lived by visiting the folk village.

The First spot of the tour place is Suwon Hwaseong Fortress.
 Hwaseong Fortress is an impressive structure from the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) and the official fortress of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. The fortress was designated as Historical Monument No. 3 in January 1963, and in December 1997, it was designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

 Hwaseong Trolley is a tourist trolley that travels between Mt. Paldalsan and Yeonmudae. The front of the trolley is shaped like a powerful dragon that signifies King Jeongjo, and the guest cars resemble palanquins that once carried the king during his excursions.

 Hwaseong Haenggung Palace is a palace located outside of Seoul where king used to stay when he traveled, at war times, or when he visited tombs. Haenggung can be classified into three types depending on the uses. There were some haenggungs built and used by kings during war times to avoid attacks of enemy troops and to continue to run the country.

Lunch is quality Korean beef cut into bite-size pieces before being marinated in a mixture of salt, pepper, and garlic. The beef is grilled on charcoal to drain the fat and make the beef juicier. It is served with a number of small and savory side dishes like spicy cabbage (kimchi), Korean sweet pumpkin pancake (jeon), and others.

Korean Folk Village is a living museum that lifestyle of several centuries ago. There are potters, weavers, blacksmiths and other artisans who practice their trades in a traditional fashion. There are also 270 traditional houses and a small amphitheater for folk music and dance performances.
